Fully integrated and perfectly matched
The combination of the 60mm ROSE ALR stem and ROSE XC carbon bar with a width of 760mm ensures a precise and agile steering behaviour. Thanks to its own design, the same geometry as the ROSE One-Piece XC cockpit (on models 3 & 4) is achieved. Internal cable routing through the stem creates a clean look and, thanks to a cap on the underside of the stem, it allows for maintenance works without having to open cables.
The PDQ 1 combines two worlds thanks to its advanced geometry concept – the result is a bike that is efficient, fast, suitable for climbing and also great fun on downhills. 120 mm travel together with the long reach and 150 mm drop in the E13 Vario Infinite seatpost (can be shortened by 30 mm, in frame size XL 180mm) provide the PDQ with outstanding handling and give you a feeling of safety on every trail. The lightweight carbon frame offers the perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility to feel uncompromisingly fast.

Chapeau Rose, da habt ihr eine unglaubliche Rakete gebaut. Bei 187 cm und 89 cm Schrittlänge passt L sehr gut. Die 120 mm Federweg und die dicken Reifen, mit geringem Luftdruck, 1,3 bar vorn und 1,5 hinten mit Vittoria Airliner lite, bei 77 kg, bieten sehr viel Komfort, man kann die Bremsen lange offen lassen. Das Bike ist im Gegensatz zu einem traditionellen XC Bike (bzgl. Geometrie, Reifenbreite 2,2 max. und 100 mm Federweg, 32 Gabel) sehr viel laufruhiger, läuft auf Asphalt etwas langsamer, im Gelände dafür schneller. Insgesamt ist das Bike sehr leise, nur wenn es richtig ruppig über Wurzelfelder geht klappert es ein wenig im Rahmen, was ich nicht als störend empfinde.
Desweiteren empfinde ich das Bike als leicht in die Luft zu bekommen, ebenfalls viel besser als beim klassischen XC, so dass sich das PDQ recht verspielt fährt und die Linienführung nun kreativer ausfällt, was das Grinsen beim fahren immens steigert. Der Sattel taugt mir nicht so, da ich ihn zu gerade finde und in steilen Anstiegen halt vermisse. Den Lockout Zug habe ich höher verlegt, so hab ich keine Schlaufe nach unten. Die Komponenten sind absolut wertig, ein Bike zum Top Preis.
