The Kryptotal Rear MTB folding tyre by Continental offers optimal grip and outstanding control on mixed surfaces and demanding terrain. It ensures thus best performance for downhill use.

The tread pattern was specially developed for the rear wheel to meet the requirements of braking, traction and directional stability. A balanced ratio of positive and open tread pattern as well as steep and flat sloping tread blocks ensures maximum control, full grip and optimum adaptation to changing terrain in downhill use.
Thanks to the single-ply downhill casing with double or triple overlapping 110 TPI fabric layers, the Kryptotal Rear is particularly robust and offers very high puncture protection without compromising the tyre’s efficiency. The most robust casing in the Gravity line-up has six plies under the tread. The reinforced casing construction and the use of tubeless-ready technology protect you from unexpected punctures on challenging routes.

The Soft Compound clearly focuses on high grip and is therefore ideal for downhill-oriented use. A very angular tread pattern combined with a six-ply casing makes the Kryptotal Rear an extremely stable MTB tyre that offers you a high level of safety and control in pretty much any terrain.
