SRAM XX Eagle Transmission™ 12-Speed Cassette, XS-1297, 10-52 Teeth

The T-Type cassette of the SRAM Eagle Transmission™ drivetrains is one of the main reasons why the perfectly coordinated drivetrain concept of the Americans offers such outstanding shifting characteristics. Of course, this also applies to the XX XS-1297 12-speed cassette!

Together with the Eagle Transmission™ 12-speed rear derailleurs and chains, the cassettes are designed as integrated and interdependent transmission components. This ensures perfect gear changes at all times. No matter how hard you pedal!
Thanks to the revised X-SYNC™ design of the cassette with optimised shift pins and the electronically controlled shifting points of the Eagle Transmission™ rear derailleur, the chain always hits the right point on the cassette to move fast, precisely and without power interruption to the next sprocket.

The XX XS-1297 cassette features a fully machined, hardened steel X-DOME™ architecture for gears 4 - 12. The gears 2 and 3 are made from stamped steel and are attached to the lightweight aluminium sprocket of the first gear (spider construction).

With a massive 520% gear range, all Eagle Transmission™ cassettes offer improved gear progression in the low gears with 52, 44 and 38 teeth, resulting in smaller gear steps compared to Eagle™ 12-speed cassettes.
What’s more, the Eagle Transmission™ cassettes move 2.5 mm further outwards to make optimal use of the 55 mm chainline of the Eagle Transmission™ drivetrain. The clearly marked setup sprocket facilitates the installation and the setup of the entire drivetrain concept.
