The Schwalbe Big Betty Evolution in the Super Gravity variety is not just the next level for Schwalbe’s Evolution Line mountain bike tyre, but also the comeback of the practically legendary Big Betty Gravity tyre.

This tyre for adrenaline junkies was already once a popular top dog in the Schwalbe universe. Now it has been brought back to life with the “Super-Gravity” casing, specially designed for its intended use, and comes with four-layers under the centre tread: an Apex insert at the sides and a chafer placed directly against the bead combine to offer additional protection from punctures and grinding at the rim. The proven SnakeSkin insert, providing excellent cut protection, isn’t just built into the side walls, but also along the entire surface.
In addition, Schwalbe relies on a foldable bead core and an improved tubeless mounting. The “Super-Gravity” tyre is also significantly lighter than Schwalbe’s “Super-Downhill” tyre, and can be used anywhere from Trail to Enduro, even Freeride and Downhill, depending on requirements and preferences.

Big Betty’s profile presents especially strong shoulder knobs which ensure excellent cornering traction. The tyre also impresses with long, supported braking corners for great traction when slowing down, as well as optimised self-cleaning properties with the aggressive and coarse tread pattern.
The ADDIX Soft rubber compound gives gravity flyers the necessary grip in dry or moist conditions.

This makes the Big Betty a strong and stabile rear tyre with thick knobs; the perfect partner for the Magic Mary at the front (product code 2306325 – Addix Ultra Soft or product code 2306321 – Addix Soft) on demanding enduro and freeride tours.
