The chain whip pliers are compatible with cassettes and chainrings with 18 to 53 teeth. Compared to a traditional chain whip, the ROSE pliers precisely grip the teeth and hold the position so that the other hand is free to remove the lockring.
Simply open the pliers by pulling the spreader lever so that the chain links can be precisely positioned on the cassette. Due to the pliers’ separate chain contact areas for small and large sprockets, the clamping force is applied to the teeth at the optimal angle, preventing them from slipping.
