In the compact 20 litre version, the VARIO backpack bike bag by ORTLIEB is the ideal companion for your way to work. Thanks to the tried and tested QUICK-LOCK (QL) 2.1 fastening system, you can hook the backpack onto your luggage rack in no time at all and turn it into a bike bag. Before the ride, simply stow the shoulder straps in the foldable outer compartment to prevent them from dangling in the wind.

The system: The comfortable back carrying system is located on one front of the bag, while the flat elements of the QUICK-LOCK3.1 rack holder are located on the other. The practical flap can be easily hooked onto the side of the bag and covers one of the two fronts as required – a clever combination of design and practicality!

The waterproof main compartment of the 2-in-1 bag is perfect for your lunch box etc. What’s more, there's a soft, separate compartment with a zipped organiser for your laptop or tablet. This bike backpack is as versatile as you are!

ORTLIEB QUICK-LOCK 2.1
The QUICK-LOCK 2.1 bike pannier mounting system is suitable for all standard racks with up to 16mm tube diameter. It allows bike bags to be comfortably hooked in and out with one hand. It is used on almost all ORTLIEB bicycle bag models, except on Back-Roller, Sport-Roller City and recumbent bags. Automatic closing and opening of the hooks allows you to hook the bag in and out easily.
When the pannier is lifted by the handle, the hooks on the reverse side are opened automatically so you can hook in the bag. Once you let go of the handle, the two hooks close around the rack tube.
