Schwalbe Magic Mary Evolution Super Ground ADDIX Soft TLE MTB Folding Tyre

The proven MAGIC MARY MTB folding tyre by Schwalbe has built a reputation among downhill riders in recent years: A reputation as a full mountain bike tyre that defies all terrain conditions. With the “Super-Ground” casing, the MAGIC MARY offers high puncture resistance and is well-suited for challenging downhill rides and demanding competitions in both dry and wet conditions.

In the “Super-Ground” version, the versatile MTB tyre comes with a three-layer carcass under the centre tread and a chafer placed directly against the bead, which combine to offer additional protection against punctures and grinding at the rim. The proven SnakeSkin insert, providing excellent cut protection, isn’t just built into the side walls, but also along the entire surface. In addition, Schwalbe has introduced a foldable bead core and improved tubeless mounting.

The rolling behaviour of the MTB tyre is optimised by ramped low-profile knobs in the centre of the tread, with the individual knobs biting into the ground thanks to the V-grooves specially developed for MAGIC MARY. Sturdy tread blocks provide massive traction – even on very muddy ground, while the strong shoulder knobs of the self-cleaning, open intermediate tread offer maximum cornering traction.

The ADDIX SOFT rubber compound bridges many areas of use. The tyre rolls really well and impresses with good damping all year round thanks to the optimised cold weather performance. This is why the soft compound has become an integral part of the Enduro and Downhill world. With “a lot of cushioning and full grip” it is also perfect for electric MTBs.

Tip:
With its gripping tread pattern, the Schwalbe MAGIC MARY can be used on either the front or rear wheel.
