Besides clear water, WETSUIT PROTECT by sailfish is an excellent neoprene detergent to clean and take care of your neoprene wetsuit – inside and out. WETSUIT PROTECT is based on soap nuts and natural surfactants for mild cleaning. Together, they help keep your wetsuit fresh without affecting the material’s properties. Thoroughly rinse the wetsuit with fresh water afterwards to make sure sand, algae and salt sticking to the suit after swimming in open water are completely washed off. This also increases durability.

However, over time, an unpleasant odour develops in the material and your wetsuit will start to smell. Besides, the inside of the suit is a perfect environment for bacteria and germs to grow. To remove bad odours, sweat, skin care products and the smell of algae, it is recommended to thoroughly clean your swimsuit with WETSUIT PROTECT. The wetsuit shampoo completely removes impurities, body oils, salt and unpleasant odours. The care product is gentle on the material neoprene and your skin.

If necessary, you can use WETSUIT PROTECT by sailfish for your wetsuit on a regular basis. However, you should certainly wash it at the end of the season before storing it for a longer period of time. Attention:
Do not wash neoprene in the washing machine or at temperatures above 40°C, since this might affect the properties of chloroprene caoutchouc.

5-15% non-ionic surfactants, 5-15% amphoteric surfactants, < 5% anionic surfactants, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol
