From the EXTRA WARM segment of ROECKL SPORTS come the ergonomically cut VORBACH winter cycling gloves for the roads and trails. The inner lining made from highly functional European LAVALAN new wool provides the EXTRA WARM factor. The wool is very breathable, dries quickly and keeps you warm even when damp. The back of the hand is made from the windproof, water-resistant and highly breathable ROECK-PROOF ECO DENALI softshell material, an elastic 3-layer laminate.

Highlights & Technologies:

ROECK-PROOF ECO DENALI:
The windproof and water-repellent softshell 3-layer laminate is made from 87% recycled polyester and has been given a water-repellent finish without PFCs that are hard to degrade. As the outer fabric is made from 13% elastane, it offers high elasticity for perfectly fitting products. In addition, the material is highly breathable and has a smooth, soft touch front as well as a pleasantly warm, soft fleece on the back.

PFC-ZERO:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. The product’s water- and dirt-repellent finish is free of PFC.

ECO.SERIES:
The ECO.SERIES from ROECKL includes performance gloves that have a high proportion of recycled materials and are PFC-free. At the same time, the bike gloves were made with a focus on durability and ergonomics.

ROECK-TEX MEMBRANE:
This is a permanently waterproof and breathable membrane that is extremely comfortable to wear. Exclusively from Roeckl.

LAVALAN:
The functional padding consists largely of European virgin wool. The wool in the product is traceable and comes from farms in Europe that rely on a regional supply chain and species-appropriate animal husbandry, without any mulesing. Biodegradable fibres (polyactide, PLA) made from renewable raw materials are used to reinforce the wool. The proportion of PLA used varies depending on the area of application of the padding: lavalan – the wool insulation.
The wool can absorb and release moisture and is naturally water-repellent at the same time. LAVALAN is very breathable, dries quickly and keeps you warm even when damp. As wool has a temperature-regulating effect, it also has a cooling effect and thus protects against overheating. Regardless of the intensity of activity and temperature fluctuations, it always ensures a pleasant, cosy warmth.

MULESING:
Mulesing is a widespread surgical procedure in Australia, practised in sheep farming for the production of wool. In this procedure, the sensitive skin on the hindquarters of lambs, which has many wrinkles due to breeding, is cut off with a sharp knife and usually without anaesthesia.
The wool for this product comes from sheep that have not been subjected to mulesing, thus setting an example against the torturous procedure.

TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE:
Conductive applications enable practical operation of smartphones, smartwatches or bike computers without having to take off your gloves.

The reflective design elements attached to the clothing as decoration do not represent a personal protective equipment as mentioned in EU regulation 2016/425. Thus, they are also not covered by the provisions of the regulation.
