HAMAX CARRIER Luggage Rack Adapter Mounting Bracket

With the further developed HAMAX CARRIER luggage rack adapter, compatible HAMAX child seats can be used for almost all bicycles with a compatible luggage rack. The struts should be round. For other strut shapes, make sure that the support adapter has a secure hold and a tight fit.

The mounting bracket is not mounted on the frame tube (seat tube), so that e-bikes and other bikes with very large frame tube diameters can also be used without special holding systems. The included HAMAX CARRIER adapter offers a simple way to attach a child seat to the luggage rack.

*Note:
The CARRIER adapter for the luggage rack is not compatible with the CARESS / ZENITH predecessor model and cannot be mounted on it (recognisable by the holder with double suspension).

**ATTENTION:
The luggage rack must be suitable for mounting the HAMAX CARRIER ADAPTER. For example, the adapter CANNOT be fitted to luggage racks without straight and parallel struts.
For safety reasons, the luggage rack adapter (and thus a compatible child seat) may ONLY be mounted on luggage racks that comply with EN ISO 11243:2016 and have a load capacity of at least 27 kg according to the labelling.
