Using a FOX 34 for XC racing? Not a problem when you have the 2022 FOX 34 Step-Cast Performance!

Redesigned from the ground up, it brings the stiffness benefits of its voluminous 34 mm upper tubes to the increasingly demanding cross-country race tracks of this world.
And FOX’s 34 Step-Cast Performance suspension fork also benefits directly from the technologies and experiences from many years of elite racing sports.

It uses the Step-Cast design that was first introduced with Factory forks in order to save weight with a significantly slimmer construction. In contrast to the previous fork model, the distinctive step at the bottom of the lower fork tubes was moved to the inside, creating sufficient space for brake discs and spokes to be able to maintain the hub width of the wheels. The special fork crown of the Step-Cast forks also ensures extremely high torsional and braking stiffness, which is absolutely necessary on today's increasingly tough XC courses!

Thanks to the improved Float-EVOL air spring, which has an even larger negative chamber that can be optionally adjusted using a volume spacer, as well as the user-friendly Grip 3-Pos damping cartridge, the 34 Step-Cast Performance impresses with very sensitive response, linear spring characteristics with a good amount of support in the middle travel range, and simple adaptability. Being limited to 3 perfectly fine-tuned positions, the compression can be easily changed and the rider only has to concentrate on adjusting the rebound and air pressure. This way, even hobby pilots are not overwhelmed with too many adjustment options.
In addition, the progression of the spring characteristic curve of the FOX 34 Step-Cast Performance can be adapted to your own needs with volume spacers in the positive chamber.

Attention:
