Your bike rack is not explicitly equipped for the MIK system? Then it is best to order the MIK support plate with the basket (prod. code: 2288686, subject to availability). This way, the rear basket sits firmly on the bike when you're riding. Once you have parked your bike, you can carry it comfortably in your hand thanks to the wide handle. 

To prevent your shopping or bags from moving around too much in the basket, the rear bike basket is equipped with an anti-slip mat on the floor. BASIL also shows a sense of responsibility with this basket, as it was made in the Netherlands from recycled PP granulate – ideal for a modern, mobile lifestyle!

This MIK fastening system allows you to attach your bike bag to the carrier with just one click. You will need either a MIK-compatible carrier (easily recognisable by the MIK logo on the carrier) or the MIK carrier plate (optionally available, prod. code: 2288686). Is your bag supplied with a MIK adapter plate? Perfect! Then simply click the bag onto your pannier rack or carrier plate – Mick, Click, Go!
