MERINO WOOL:
Compared to traditional wool, merino wool offers a particularly fine fibre. Due to the extreme weather conditions merino sheep are subjected to in nature, the wool is extremely temperature-regulating and is capable of wicking moisture away from the body particularly fast. This creates, even when wet, a warming protective layer for the body. As opposed to traditional wool, merino wool does not scratch when wet either. Therefore, merino is especially well suited for wearing it directly on the skin. What’s more, merino wool can also be worn very well on warm summer days, because its high breathability creates a cooling effect.
