The Splined Carrier ‘L’ is specifically designed for the combination of Rohloff Speedhubs with Gates Carbon Drive belts. After you have threaded the adapter onto the hub, it is secured with a lock ring that is tightened with a face pin wrench, a hook wrench or the Rohloff lock ring tool. The lock ring ensures that Carbon Drive sprockets are secured laterally to the Splined Carrier ‘L’ and thus eliminates any micro-movement of the Carbon Drive splined sprockets created by the pre-tension of the Carbon Drive belt.

· For Gates splined sprockets
· Belt line: 55 mm (similar to screwed version)
· Also suitable for 15 - 19 and 21 tooth Rohloff splined sprockets
· Tightening torque of lockring: 30 Nm
Note: Not compatible with 13 and 14 tooth Rohloff splined sprockets and the Hebie Chainglider. We recommend the use of the regular splined carriers 8540 (product code: 2244033) or 8540S (product code 2254611) for chain use due to the advantages of tool-free sprocket mounting/removal.
