Bocholt, 20 February 26

A significant milestone for the Unibet Rose Rockets: the team has been awarded an official wildcard for the 2026 Giro d’Italia. This marks the team’s debut in a Grand Tour, where they will take on the world’s cycling elite on Italy’s legendary mountain passes.
For over a century, the Giro d’Italia has been regarded as one of the most gruelling races in cycling. Between the steep climbs of the Dolomites and the nerve-wracking sprints in the valleys, every second and every watt counts. The new Shave FFX was developed precisely for this racing experience. Just a few weeks after the launch of the Shave series, the top-of-the-range model is now set to become the Rockets’ official bike for the Giro d’Italia.
The Shave series shares a common high-performance DNA, which is reflected in two distinct concepts – versatile performance for long days in the saddle and uncompromising speed for racing. The FFX is the flagship of this range and is the very model on which the Rockets celebrated their first victory of the season.
“The Giro is all about emotion, energy and pure passion – and that’s exactly what our new Shave FFX embodies,” says Thorsten Heckrath-Rose, Managing Director of Rose Bikes. “We’re delighted to be competing in a Grand Tour for the first time with this bike.”
During her three weeks in Italy, Rose offers exclusive insights into the technical aspects of the races and the team’s work behind the scenes: with behind-the-scenes details on set-up, tactics and the unique spirit of the Rockets.
