Park Tool BCB-5 Brush Set

With the right tools, work is simply more fun. This also applies to cleaning your bike. With the BCB-5 from Park Tool, you get a brush set with five high-quality cleaning tools that have been specially developed for removing dirt from bicycles.

For this purpose, Park Tool has equipped the brushes with long, ergonomically shaped handles that reduce the amount of force required and enable comfortable working. The different brushes are equally suitable for cleaning large areas and reaching the smallest and hard-to-reach gaps. The compact soap brush, the conical bottle brush and the straight brush are also equipped with Tampico bristles. This is a chemical-resistant natural fibre with a yellowish colour, which is obtained from the agave plant. In contrast to synthetic fibres, Tampico has very good water absorption, making it ideal for the bristles of cleaning brushes. A wedge-shaped soap sponge is also available for applying cleaning fluid and gently removing dirt from delicate surfaces.

Contents of the brush set:
1 compact soap brush (Tampico bristles): Ideal for the first work step on the bike to distribute the cleaning agent and remove larger accumulations of dirt.
1 conical bottle brush (Tampico bristles): Universal brush for cleaning large and small surfaces (e.g. for hub centres, rims).
1 straight brush (Tampico bristles): Long, straight brush with short, dense bristles to get into hard-to-reach parts (e.g. for the gaps on the rear derailleur, front derailleur or for cleaning the spokes).
1 drive brush: Long, stiff polyamide bristles for removing grease or dirt from the cassette, rear derailleur or other areas where dirt is stuck.

Note:
As Tampico is a natural fibre, it may vary in colour. If the bristles have become temporarily deformed during parcel transport, you can reshape them using a little water. After use, the Tampico brushes should be hung up by the end of the handle and always dried completely before storing them away.
