Our PRO SL Disc 105 is the ideal entry to the world of cycling. SHIMANO’s proven 105 groupset provides crisp gear changes and outstanding reliability. This road groupset is a true marathon classic. Powerful disc brakes of this groupset provide safety – they can show their strengths especially in wet or difficult weather conditions. This makes them almost indispensable for long-distance riders. Another advantage that the bike gets from the disc brakes is the tyre clearance of up to max. 32 mm. If you want to ride on unpaved roads, you can simply fit wider tyres instead.
Design & Integration
The PRO SL is made of torsion-resistant aluminium with elegant welded seams for a frame with carbon look. A fully integrated cable routing solution on the headset hides gear and brake cables – for a clean cockpit. These days, fully integrated cables simply belong to every high-quality bike, yet they are very easy to maintain: handlebar, stem and spacers can be easily replaced, without having to disconnect cables. The saddle clamp is integrated, too. Especially in the entry-level segment, this is a modern design element.
Comfort & Balance
The new Rose high-end carbon fork guarantees improved performance, thanks to a great balance between stiffness and weight to flex – underlining the ambitions of the bike. The geometry is relaxed and the upright, effort-saving riding position provides advantages especially on long distances.
