Motorex Chainlube for Wet Conditions

The Chainlube for Wet Conditions is an effective means of lubricating the chain in rainy, muddy conditions and thus protecting it from adhesions and intensive dirt that might increase wear. The lubricant is designed for road use in bad weather, as well as for cross biking, gravel grinding and mountain biking on muddy gravel paths and dirt tracks. In wet conditions, an unsuitable chain lube can be washed off quickly or develop into a greasy grinding compound consisting of greasy adhesions and sand that gets stuck between the sprockets, pulley wheels and chain links after a short time only.

Thanks to its particularly dirt- and water-repellent formula, the fully synthetic, biodegradable lubricant by Motorex penetrates deep into the chain links’ core to reduce friction and create a closed, hydrophobic protective coating with excellent surface adhesion. It has corrosion-inhibiting properties and is recommended for continuous lubrication of the chain and shifting system during frequent rides in rainy weather.

Simply apply the chain lube to the clean and dry chain. Move the parts by turning the crank to ensure the lubricant is evenly applied. Regular use of Motorex Chainlube for Wet Conditions can significantly increase the durability of the chain. In particularly muddy conditions, the chain should be cleaned and re-treated after each ride to prevent dust, sand etc. from penetrating.
