ABUS Granit XPlus 6950M NR Bike Frame Lock

The XPlus 6950M frame lock gives bike thieves a hard time. Under the name Granit, ABUS folding locks, U-locks and chain locks have already proven for many years that they meet particularly high requirements for theft protection. With a focus on security and convenience, the Granit XPlus complements the ABUS bike lock portfolio with increased security standards.

While the crucial components are made of specially hardened steel and offer enduring mechanical resistance, the special XPlus locking mechanism provides excellent protection against lock picking. Just like the other ABUS Granit models, the cylinder of the 6950M is particularly resistant to manipulation attempts.
Being permanently mounted on the bike frame, the ABUS frame lock accompanies you on your tours as a quick and easy-to-activate security device. Thanks to the adjustable bolt spacing of the mounting plates, the 6950M can be fitted to all standard bike frames. In case your bike does not have any suitable mounting points: With the separately available LH adapter strap, you can easily mount the frame lock even without suitable holes.

Classic frame locks are part of the standard equipment of city and touring bikes because of their practical handling. However, if the bike is parked unattended for a longer period of time, the rear wheel lock should be supplemented by an additional security device so that the bike cannot be easily carried away. Despite the high resistance of the Granit version, an ABUS plug-in chain or other additional locks are recommended for securing the bike to a fixed object in case of increased risk of theft.
