ORGANIC COTTON guarantees the use of certified organic cotton. Chemical fertilizers and pesticides are taboo, just as genetically modified seeds are. 25% of all insecticides and 11% of all pesticides worldwide are used in conventional cotton farming, although cotton is only grown on just over 2% of the total agricultural area worldwide. Organic cotton helps reduce these poisons.
