FLUID FULL ZIP PANTS II waterproof trousers

There was only one review and advice on size before, so was in big doubt which size to order. I am 1,78m, and normally wearing M size of most clothing. Other user said that M was still ok for him being 1,8m, but I went for L (52) size as I will use them mainly in winter to put on top of my usual office trousers when commuting to work. So pants look slightly big when on, but not too loose, and I can pull them on top of my jersey - there is room for this, and when riding no problems with being to stretched or so. If riding in hot climates, but in rainy season, so in case would be used only to put on top of cycling shorts, then actual size M would suite better. Quality worth the price Rose is selling currently, but not sure if I would buy for the list price, which is around 90-95 EUR.

I have used these pants several times now and they are perfectly waterproof. The full zip makes it very easy to put on. The length of the pant is perfect for me, long enough so it falls onto the shoes (1.80m size M).

The pants only have one weakness: at the waist where the zip ends there is a 'button' in the form of a hook. However while you put the pants on you usually run your fingers through the inside of the waistband. And then you run into the hooks that easily bend open. I am affraid that one of these days these buttons wil break. Furthermore the hooks come undone when there is no tension on the waistband, so almost everytime you take them out, to put them on, the hooks are open. It would be a huge improvement if Vaude would use simple 'pressure buttons' like on many jackets...
