SHIMANO Deore XT wheels ensure a robust performance on every trail. The tubeless aluminium rims with an inner rim width of 24 mm are asymmetrically laced for balanced spoke tension. In combination with the smooth-running CENTERLOCK hubs and reliably labyrinth seals, this creates an extremely reliable wheel.
For their in-house 12-speed freehub technology, SHIMANO uses a robust star ratchet hub instead of classic pawls. This freehub impresses with a very little degree engagement of max. 9°. This means less free travel and more direct power transfer.
