Tubo-MTB-26 thermoplastic lightweight tube

The robust, seamlessly welded Tubo-MTB-26 lightweight tube by Tubolito is a small revolution and gives you an excellent alternative to butyl. It reduces unnecessary weight you take along with heavy, rolled up butyl tubes as a breakdown protection. Every gram counts when you are on a steep climb with your mountain bike. With a weight saving of up to 65% compared to a standard tube, the Tubo offers new possibilities for weight tuning, for top athletes and for ambitious leisure time mountain bikers as well. Mounting is easy and reduces the rotating mass at your bike quickly by up to 100 grams – per wheel!

In terms of weight reduction and grip improvement, Tubolito’s smooth polymer tube is also a reliable option for tubeless sceptics or for riders who dread converting to a more complicated tubeless system, as it can also be ridden with low air pressure. What’s more, the robust thermoplastic is twice as puncture-proof as butyl. However, should you have a puncture, the orange tube can be quickly repaired with the Tubo-Flix repair kit (item no. 2268268).
