The Hybrid Que long sleeve cycling jersey by Q36.5 is a three-season jersey that belongs to the “windbreaker” category. During its production, the UF HYBRID SHELL is used, a particularly dense woven fabric equipped with a proprietary Smart Fibre for even more warmth. This special heat fibre is made from the leftovers of coffee bean production. The fibre attracts infrared radiation from the surroundings and heats up the body with it. Thanks to the fabric mixtures, the heat loss can be reduced to keep the body temperature even more stable. Q36.5 calls this the “anti-condensation development”. This process has a high absorption/emission rate, before it can be transformed into sweat caused by condensation. The process minimises the dangerous heat loss that can be caused by condensation in cold training conditions and sub-zero temperatures. During physical activity, the body produces natural heat that creates a micro climate. The aim is to keep this micro climate stable and to use it to increase vapour transfer before it transforms into sweat.
Whereas the UF HYBRID SHELL and UF HYBRID SHELL LIGHT are used in the core heat zones and in those areas that are most strongly exposed to wind (chest, upper back, upper arms), the fast-drying UFL1 SILVER fabric is used at the back and lower forearms.
With two different cuts, a new neck construction with pressure-free and hermetic closure was developed. The goal is to have a collar that offers a perfect ergonomic fit in a riding position. The result is no pressure and yet a hermetic closure at the collar that keeps off the cold winter.

The super light microfibre material was specially developed for use in summer jerseys. It stands out for its fast drying features as well as a brushed upper side. The enlarged surface allows for better evaporation and a comfortable feel. For conventional polyester-elastane blended fabrics, the two threads are simply mixed in the desired ratio. The elastane content of this fabric, however, is determined by an elastane filament, which is then wrapped in polyester mid-clamps that completely protect it from any surface contact and thus ensure an exceptional longevity of the fabric’s elasticity. The introduction of the silver thread into the weft of the fabric (slightly visible, in a light pinstripe running down the fabric) can be understood as a further fine tuning of the material’s original function, exploiting its exceptional natural properties in the best possible way.
