POLARTEC ALPHA DIRECT:
This further development of the ALPHA material eliminates the need for a backing fabric, thus creating a closed fabric package. Through the improvement of the shape and size of its fibres ALPHA DIRECT can be in direct contact with the skin or other layers of fabric. This increases breathability and reduces the overall weight of the clothing. The active insulation continuously releases excess body heat before it can build up and cause heat accumulation. All this is made possible by the braided ALPHA fibres connected to a fixed mesh core. And since POLARTEC ALPHA DIRECT is inherently hydrophobic, it resists all moisture and dries fast.
