Castelli was the first company to develop Lycra shorts or jerseys from water-repellent material and still is one of the leading production companies for cycling clothing. The traditional company Castelli was founded by Maurizio Castelli. Maurizio's father already had the company Vittore Gianni that was founded in 1876 and produced, among others, jerseys for AC Milan and the famous Milan Ballet. The first cycling clothing was added in 1910. Together with his team, Maurizio has always pursued the objective of manufacturing innovative, functional cycle wear that offers the athletes best conditions.

The company Castelli not only offers women’s and men’s shorts and jerseys, but also a wide range of practical and functional cycling equipment: Apart from cycling shorts and tights and different cycling jerseys, the product range includes gloves, caps, socks, underwear, windbreakers and waterproof jackets, shoe covers, arm warmers, knee warmers and toe covers and socks.
