In the company's more than 100-year history, Bosch has always moved with the times. Founded in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1886, the “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering” still relies on the same expertise as in its early beginnings and is paving the way towards the future with intensive research and development of e-bike drive units. Progressive improvements in the field of high-torque and long-lasting electric motors goes hand in hand with the involvement of human beings in motor control. Bosch is a pioneer in the e-bike segment and, as a competent innovator, has taken the development of electric motors to the next level in recent years. ROSE has also been relying on the innovative Bosch units to electrify their e-bikes for years. Bosch offers two different motor options: Motors from the Active Line are partners for harmonious tours with a long range, while the Performance Line e-bike system stands for a sporty and powerful riding experience.

To make this connection between rider and motor even more direct, Bosch found its own way regarding the operation of their electric motors. A new generation of bike computers serves as an interface between human being and machine and offers completely new possibilities in terms of status display and motor control, being the central module of electric bikes with Bosch drive.

Two newly designed displays, Nyon and Intuvia, provide cyclists with all the important ride data. The Nyon display is an all-in-one on-board computer that offers a range of technical features. A heart rate chest strap can be connected via Bluetooth, and the E-Bike Connect app can be used to send routes from the smartphone to the Nyon and make adjustments. Perfect for riders who like to deal with route planning, training and technology. 

The Intuvia display is designed to be user-friendly and easy to operate. The screen offers all important information at a glance, clearly and simply structured. So you can concentrate fully on riding and enjoying yourself.

The high-quality finish and discreet design, which allows the control units to blend seamlessly into the e-bike cockpit, are also typical of Bosch. Thanks to the display backlight, the display remains clearly visible even in the dark.
