The smart rear light with eCall combines different technologies and concepts of Litecco and WayGuard in one battery-powered LED light with brake light function and certified emergency call process for crashed cyclists.
Brake light:
A high-sensitivity motion sensor makes the rear light shine up to 5 times brighter when braking – for high visibility and road safety.
Emergency call:
The high-sensitivity motion sensor also detects when you’ve crashed. The free WayGuard safety app (only available within Germany) then alerts a professional control centre, which will call you immediately to make sure you are fine. If they can’t reach you or if you are seriously injured, they’ll forward your GPS location to the police or ambulance. This certified technology is only available within Germany.
Free personal safety app:
WayGuard is one of Germany’s leading personal safety apps! It is developed by AXA Insurance and available for iOS and Android for free. WayGuard provides a virtual escort. In an emergency, WayGuard (24/7 availability) will get an alert with your exact location to send help. Connect your smart rear light with the WayGuard app on your smartphone to use the emergency call process while cycling.
