Highlights & Technologies:
In this manufacturing process, almost the whole EPS inner shell is covered by the outer micro-shell, even down into the ventilation openings (maximum micro-shell coverage). In a second step, the outer shell is irreversibly bonded to the EPS inner shell. This combination is significantly more elastic under pressure. Thanks to the subsequent attachment of the robot-milled outer shell, KED helmets stand out for precise and accurate edge transitions. Besides, the maxShell technology allows for generously sized lower edge protection – a significant advantage for daily use in city and kids’ helmets.
QUICKSAFE flashing light
QUICKSAFE lights must be viewed independently from an external light source. Car drivers will even see them before the headlights will hit your bicycle reflectors.
QUICKSAFE fitting system
The patented QUICKSAFE system provides easy and precise adjustment to each individual head shape and guarantees highest comfort and maximum safety. The system features a 360° head ring for the presetting of heights and circumference. For precise graded fine adjustment in both directions the adjustment wheel can be turned by one hand operation. The integrated strap guide guarantees optimum strap positioning.
QUICKSTOPP strap adjustment
The QUICKSTOPP at the centre top of the helmet allows quick length adjustment of the strap and prevents uncontrolled sliding of the strap from one side of the head to the other.
