The EA90 stem of the current generation is a weight-optimised further development with a larger boom diameter compared to its predecessor. Ideal for lightweight aluminium and carbon handlebars of the EA and EC series from EASTON!
The high-strength EA90 aluminium alloy is used to create a beautiful connecting element between fork steerer and handlebar in a 3D forging process. The result is an outstanding combination of stiffness and weight. High quality, a thought-out design and TaperWall™ technology allow for material reduction without compromising on strength. The material thickness is tapered to reduce weight where possible, or reinforced for more stability where necessary.
While the 3D forged aluminium alloy of the Ahead stem promises the necessary stability, the 4-bolt DST™ front plate with Top-Lock™ technology ensures easy mounting and secure clamping of your handlebar with even force distribution.
The open design of the stem faceplate not only saves weight, but is also compatible with the EASTON ICM Faceplate Computer Mount. This optional mount allows you to place your GARMIN Edge series bike computer in front of the stem in a stylish and aerodynamic way.*
