The protector consists of a special foam that returns to its original shape after deformation. The ergonomically shaped back padding of the Contact System nestles against the back and thus distributes the weight of the load evenly. On the one hand, this protects the back and ensures comfort, and on the other hand, loads can be carried most easily close to the body.
