The View Brake Plus back light is an effective brake light for bikes.The LineTec lens system spreads out the light of two ultra bright LEDs to become a brilliant strip of red light. This increases the visibility even from great distances. If the speed is reduced significantly and suddenly, the luminous power increases and both light strips begin to pulsate - the following traffic is warned. The elegant design provides, together with the all round clear glass body, an ideal light reflection to both sides.

· incl. overvoltage protection
· suitable for carriers with 50 and 80 mm hole spacing

Please note! The brake light only works in combination with a hub dynamo and with the light switched on.

Excellent big bright light - all I have come to expect from B&M .... not used enough to answer other feedback on corrosion in wet weather .... I am trusting in the 5yr warranty from Rose bikes ... if ever

Als Rücklicht prima, die Bremslichtfunktion setzt wohl nur bei wirklich starken Bremsungen ein. Ein nettes Gimmick, aber m.E. eher verzichtbar

Tres bonne lumière. Pour ce qui est de la fonction frein: n'en vaut pas la peine car très peu de différence par rapport à la lumière standart.. Ne vaut pas le cout.

Not worth it. The brake function is almost not brighter than the normal one.

Auf der heutigen Tour leuchtete das Rücklicht die ersten 30km leider nicht (4 Monate alt, 900km). Bei zwei Freunden gab es ein ähnlich unzuverlässiges Verhalten. Als ich zu Hause ankam und die Verkabelung mit einem Multimeter überprüfen wollte, leuchtete es plötzlich wieder. Zum Glück war es heute hell. Am Liegerad gibt es sonst im Dunkeln wenig worduch ich nach hinten sichtbar werde. Da es jetzt wieder funktioniert kann ich es ja auch nicht als Defekt einschicken.
Ich habe ein identisches Licht am Mountainbike was mich noch nicht im Stich gelassen hat.
Dennoch werde ich es austauschen müssen, da ein Ausfall im Dunkeln einfach nicht akzeptabel ist.

Seit fast einem Jahr habe ich die Leuchte jetzt an meinem Rad. Meine Frau meint, wenn sie hinter mir fährt wirft sie ein sehr helles und großes Licht. Auch die Bremslichtfunktionalität ist deutlich zu sehen.
